Job Context
This role oversees the overall health, performance, and security of the organization's computer networks. Key duties include designing and implementing network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, enforcing security measures, and providing technical leadership and guidance to junior staff to ensure network stability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Design, install, and configure LAN/WAN networks and associated hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance, conduct capacity analysis, and implement upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
• Implement security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage security measures like firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex network outages and provide second-level support for network-related issues.
• Develop and manage data backup solutions and test disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior IT staff and collaborate with other teams to implement network solutions.
Educational Requirement & Age Limit
• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent from a reputed university.
• Must not exceed 45 years of age
Professional Certification
• Mandatory certification requirement includes CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, PCCSA, PCCP, PCNSE, or NSE1-7.
• Certifications in server operating systems (Linux/Windows), virtualization, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure are a plus.
Skill Requirement
• Deep knowledge of routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Expertise in security measures including firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, access controls, and encryption (SSL/TLS, IPsec).
• Proficiency in cloud security for public and hybrid environments.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex network issues and conducting risk assessments.
• Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
• Ability to design and plan for long-term infrastructure growth and manage system upgrades from start to finish.
Experience Requirement
• Minimum of 10–12 years of experience managing Enterprise Networks, preferably in Banks or Financial Institutions.
• Hands-on experience with Network & Security solutions like Load Balancers, WAF, NDR, NGFW, SIEM/SOAR, FIM, and PAM.
• Strong preference given to candidates with proven experience and certifications in Juniper-based networks (routing & switching).
• Familiarity with OEMs such as Palo Alto, F5, Fortinet, and Cisco.
• Experience in Hyperconverged Infrastructure, enterprise storage systems, and enterprise-level technical project execution.
