Job Context
Reporting to the Head of Systems Administration, this role leads the management and optimization of the bank's IT infrastructure. The position involves overseeing Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, cloud services, and storage, while serving as a technical lead for troubleshooting and secure operations.
Responsibilities
• Administer and configure Windows and Linux environments, including Oracle Exadata, RHEL, and Ubuntu.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Nutanix AHV, and Hyper-V, including VM deployment and resource pools.
• Maintain SAN/NAS storage systems (HPE, Dell EMC, NetApp) and oversee backup/restore strategies using tools like Veeam.
• Perform regular system patching, kernel updates, and performance tuning to ensure optimization.
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters, whether on-premise or in the cloud.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, and Exchange Server infrastructure.
• Support enterprise network security solutions, including NGFW, SIEM, and PAM.
• Ensure 24/7 Data Center operation management and disaster recovery planning.
Educational Requirement & Age Limit
• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent from a reputed university.
• Must not exceed 45 years of age
Professional Certification
• Preference given to candidates with RHCSE, MCSE, Kubernetes, HPE, Oracle, DELL, IBM, or similar vendor certifications.
• Certifications in various Network Standards are an added advantage.
Skill Requirement
• Expertise in virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi/vCenter, AHV, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) covering VM deployment, storage, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Proficiency with storage solutions (SAN/NAS, RAID) and backup/recovery tools.
• Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management, including Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Deep proficiency in troubleshooting and managing both Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
Experience Requirement
• Minimum of 10–12 years of professional experience in system-related fields, preferably in the banking or telco sector with 2 years of experience in leadership position.
• Required experience in Hyperconverged Infrastructure, enterprise storage, Data Center Operations, and end-user device management.
• Proven track record in local and foreign partner/OEM management, negotiations, and technical project execution.
