Jamuna Bank PLC is strengthening its retail franchise across deposits, consumer assets, cards and digitally enabled customer journeys. We are seeking a commercially astute Head of Retail Banking to build profitable customer relationships, sharpen product propositions and improve sales productivity while maintaining strong portfolio quality and customer-service standards.
The position carries a direct mandate for profitable retail growth, sharper customer propositions and stronger distribution productivity.

Job Context
The Head of Retail Banking will own the Bank’s retail growth agenda, covering customer acquisition, deposits, consumer finance, cards, fee income, distribution productivity and customer experience in close partnership with branch, credit, risk, operations and digital teams.
Responsibilities
• Retail Strategy: Formulate and execute the retail strategy covering deposits, consumer loans, cards, customer segmentation, cross-selling and distribution.
• Growth & Profitability: Deliver sustainable growth in customers, balances, assets and fee income with disciplined pricing and portfolio profitability.
• Product & Customer: Develop customer-centric propositions, campaigns and lifecycle programs using market insight, analytics and service feedback.
• Distribution & Sales: Strengthen branch and alternate-channel productivity, sales governance, lead conversion and complaint-resolution standards.
• Risk & Compliance: Work with Credit and Risk to maintain asset quality and ensure compliance with consumer protection, AML/CFT and internal policy requirements.
Educational Requirement & Age Limit
• Minimum Post-Graduation from a recognized university with no 3rd division/class or equivalent result in any academic level. MBA/MBM or Master’s in Finance, Marketing, Banking, Economics or Management is preferred.
• Maximum age: 48 years.
Professional Certification
• Banking Diploma and relevant professional certification in retail banking, credit, marketing, analytics or product management will be an added advantage.
Skill Requirement
• Retail strategy, product management, deposit mobilization and portfolio profitability.
• Sales leadership, distribution productivity and customer acquisition.
• Consumer-credit understanding, customer experience management and analytics-driven execution.
Experience Requirement
• For EVP: minimum 18 years’ relevant experience with at least 1.5 years as SVP or equivalent. For SVP: minimum 16 years’ relevant experience with at least 1.5 years as VP or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in retail banking, consumer finance, cards, deposit mobilization, branch distribution or related business functions is required. Candidates currently serving as Head of Retail Banking, or in an equivalent role, with 2-3 years of experience in that capacity will be given preference. Strong market exposure and proven experience in leading teams, marketing, operations and recovery will also be preferred.

• The candidate should demonstrate a measurable record of retail business growth together with sound asset quality and customer-service outcomes.
